Bolivar Bueno has been performing magic since he was nine years old, when he first learned sleight of hand camped in the high peaks of Peru. Decades later he performs for audiences who want the kind of close-quarters wonder that gets talked about for years. Every hand he shakes, every coin he produces, every impossible reveal comes from a performer who has spent his life inside the craft. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is equally at home with mixed-language audiences and bilingual events.
What sets Bolivar apart is the second life he has lived alongside the magic. As founder of The Cult Branding Company, he has spent more than two decades studying audiences for clients like the LA Lakers, Kohl’s, Turner Classic Movies, Life is Good, Harley-Davidson, and Scheels. He has written three books on why people fall in love with experiences. He produced The Magic Maker for the Discovery Channel and served twelve years on the United States Postal Service Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee, four as its chairman, where he was the driving force behind the 2018 Art of Magic Forever stamp series, the first US stamp collection dedicated to magic as an American art form. That research follows him into every performance.
Audiences feel the difference. His magic is warm, intelligent, and unhurried, designed to draw people in rather than dazzle them from across the room. Guests leave with a moment they want to describe to someone else, which is the highest compliment a performer can earn. He is a natural fit for executive retreats, sales kickoffs, leadership gatherings, holiday parties, and brand-conscious private events where the host wants their guests to feel genuinely taken care of.
Based in Kissimmee, Florida, Bolivar performs for select audiences each year. He is a thoughtful, generous performer whose work leaves people feeling lit up and connected to the room around them.
